Kaylee
I have always enjoyed caring for people and enjoy the opportunity of enhancing people’s quality of life wherever possible. I wanted to work on feet as it’s one of the few areas of the body that is often left unnoticed and neglected – yet probably one of the most important since we use them every day!
Every patient is different and it is a genuinely fantastic feeling to see someone without the pain that they arrived with, knowing that we have made a significant difference to their quality of life.
I started studying to be a Foot Health Practitioner and qualified in Maidenhead.
I took a full time approach to study and qualified, having learnt all of the latest techniques and updated procedures.

Unfortunately not.

What is the difference between a Foot Health Practitioner, a Podiatrist and a Chiropodist?
Registered Foot Health Practitioners are individuals that are qualified to carry out routine foot care treatments. Our services include cutting and filing toenails and fingernails, corns and callus, preventing and treating fungal nail infections and carrying out general check-ups on feet. Practitioners also provide foot care services to individuals with diabetes by assessing their feet for any changes in condition, ensuring that diabetic ulcers don’t develop and by making sure their toenails are correctly cut.
Podiatrists, in addition to the services above, specialise in the study, diagnosis and treatment of long term foot, ankle and lower leg conditions. They aim to prevent and correct deformities of the feet and lower legs by using orthotics and are able to offer advice on the correct style of footwear for your feet.
Many individuals visit a Podiatrist if they are suffering from problems with ligaments, tendons and bones or if they are experiencing consistent pain within their feet or lower legs.

Do you do home visits
Yes we do.
Can you do short notice appointments?
Sometimes but we cannot guarantee it! We sometimes have cancellation slots that can be taken, but it is extremely advisable to book each time we see you. If it's urgent, then we can make an appointment for you outside of normal hours. Most people work on a 6 weekly appointment cycle, but of course, everyone should do whatever suits them best.

Yes we do.
Do you Treat Children?
Yes we do, but the treatments are more limited.
